MICHELLE'S YIN DEEP STILLNESS, DEEP HEALING, DEEP PEACE
LATE SUMMER YIN PRACTICE
Sunday March 1st, 2 - 5pm.
A combination of Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation), Yin Asana, Nada Yoga (sound), Pranayama (breath work) and meditation, this extended practice is an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and become more sensitive to our own inner-landscape.
Together we will slowly and gently stretch the connective tissues and fascia of the body, helping to increase joint mobility, fluidity of movement and energy flow. By holding poses longer and with greater awareness we begin to release stress and ease physical and emotional tension from the body, while opening and releasing into a space of deep stillness, healing and rest.
All welcome, beginners to more advanced yogis alike will benefit from this quiet yet powerful practice.

Please join me for a weekend retreat at the beautiful Amarant Retreat Centre, located amongst 25 acres of magical temperate-rainforest on Mount Ben Cairn in the Yarra Ranges National Park.
This retreat will be a precious time to pause, reconnect and rediscover that deep unshakable state of presence that is there for us whenever we give ourselves the time and space to drop back in a very embodied, kind and gentle way. The nature of life in this world in which we live means that we rarely have the opportunity, or the space, to pause, go within, and rest in that deep well of being that is our true nature.
Through embodied yoga practices (both Vinyasa and Yin), quiet meditation, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Sound Healing, periods of intentional silence, and so importantly, time in nature, we will give ourselves the gift of pure presence, all supported by a
stunning environment, delicious and nourishing biodynamic plant based meals and a group of beautiful, compassionate, like-minded yogis.
We spend so much of our lives looking outside of ourselves, seeking, comparing, striving, achieving…in our time together we will set all of that down, and instead rest in a space of unconditional acceptance. As the poet Rumi reminds us;
“I looked in temples, churches and mosques. But I found the Divine within my Heart.”
Before the busyness of the holiday season descends, this will be your time to pause, go within, connect deeply to your body, your breath, the earth, ready then to return to your daily rhythm with a newfound sense of ease, stillness and deep gratitude for life
as it is.
